Rosa Salas

Rosa M Salas, 98 Rosa M Salas, age 98, of Mesa AZ, passed away Wednesday, March 7 2018, at her residence in Mesa. She was born in Globe on February 16, 1920 to Rosalio and Maria Mendez Salas. Rosa worked in Globe as a Safeway cashier, a cosmetologist at Rose Beauty Salon and continued to work into her 80s as Holy Angel’s Church secretary. Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, her bothers: Jesus Salas, Salvador Salas, Raymond Salas, Manuel Salas, her sisters: Trini Baca, Amelia Macias, Mary Louise Salas and Mary Salas. Rosa is survived by her sister, Belen Monarrez, brothers, Cruz Salas (Matt), Carlos Salas (Vivian), and many nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for March 19 at Holy Angles Church, Globe AZ. Visitation 9am, Rosary 10am, and Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am, Luncheon at church hall to follow.
