Marcella Garcia

Marcella Joan Garcia age 82, of Miami, Arizona passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona. She was born in Lockport, New York on December 5, 1935. She was the daughter of Mary (Hough) and Charles Tweedy. She worked as a nurse at Gila General Hospital. Marcella was a very classy dresser and was always dressed to the nines. She was a collector and she loved to garden. She enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of animals. She also loved shopping and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Charles Tweedy and her husband Valentine Garcia. Marcella is survived by her daughter Debra Mitchell Lockhart (Richard) of Sarasota, Florida, her son Douglas Mitchell (Anzelika) of Hickory, North Carolina, her step-daughter Sherry Cutter (George) of Globe, Arizona, her sisters Gloria Estevane of Morganton, North Carolina, Myrtle Means of Globe, Arizona, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel
