Nora Cassadore, age 90, of Peridot, Arizona passed away on February 6, 2018 at Haven of Globe Nursing Home. She was born in Old San Carlos, Arizona on March 2, 1927. She was the daughter of Ada (Patten) and Joseph Henry. She was a homemaker. Nora attended the Peridot Lutheran School. She sold Apache food and was known for her Indian Tamales. She worked at the San Carlos Hospital in housekeeping. She made quilts, burden baskets, cradle boards and camp dresses. Nora was preceded in death by her parents Ada and Joseph Henry, her husband Nugent Cassadore, and her children Edwin Cassadore and Shirley Perry. She is survived by her daughters Lucille Cassadore of Peridot, Velma Brown of San Carlos, Suzie Victor of Peridot, Karen Red Bird of Peridot, her sons Wayne Henry Sr. (Shirley) of Peridot, Anthony G. Henry (Saraphina) of Peridot, her sister Sarah Pendle and brother Harolkd Henry both of Peridot, 31 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Wake will be on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at the Cassadore’s residence in Hallelujah Square. Funeral Services will be on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the San Carlos Miracle Church. Interment will be at Upper Peridot Cemetery. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe
