Tela Rodgers

Tela Sue Rodgers was born March 4, 1933 in Sunkist Oklahoma to Samuel and Tomilou (Sipes) Selby. She passed from this world on January 24, 2018 in Globe Arizona. Tela had a great love of life and lived it to the fullest. She loved to spend time with family, eating good food and playing cards. She loved to travel, gardening, dancing, the outdoors, and was an avid collector of rocks and dolls. She had many dogs over the years and loved them all dearly. Tela is survived by her two children Samuel Finley (Debbie), Sandra Ray (Ron), Adopted great granddaughter LouAnn Rodgers. Four grandchildren who she was known as Grandma Sue, Dee Dee Palmer (Janet), Christine Amador (Manuel), Russell Finley, Joey Finley (spouse), and one sister Bonnie Roy . Four great-grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Buddy Selby, her sisters Odessa, Ruth, Ellen, Floy and one great great grandson Easton Palmer. Tela leaves as her legacy a line of strong women and the knowledge of how much she loved each and everyone of us. She will forever be in our hearts.
