Nola Monone Cole

June 4, 1924 — November 19, 2017

Nola M. Cole, 93, passed away peacefully at Faubush Family Homes, on November 19, 2017. Born on June 4, 1924 to parents Tom and Mandie Falls, she grew up in the small town of Fletcher, Oklahoma. She attended local schools, where she later met and married Marvin Cole in 1941. They were happily married for 59 years. A member of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, Nola enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading and spending time with her family. Nola was preceded in death by her husband Marvin and her grandson, Christopher Cole. She is survived by her sons, Coye (Paula) of Washington, Utah, Dirl (Karen) of San Tan Valley, Arizona and daughter Sue (Wayne) Asberry of Globe, five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church. Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Nola’s name be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Interment will be in Globe Cemetery.
