Elizabeth Florine Fye Elizabeth “Betty” Florine Fye, 87, of Globe, Ariz., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017. She was born in Globe and graduated from Globe High School in 1947. She owned Betty’s Flower Shop from 1975 to 1986. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, art, and antiques. Betty had a big heart and loved her family. She was proud of her family heritage and enjoyed sharing stories of her family’s history. She was preceded in death by her parents Florine (Wills) and Cyril Merrifield; husband Robert Fye. Betty is survived by her son Robert Fye of Lakewood, Colorado and daughter Kathy Montague of Globe; seven grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 P.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel. Graveside services were held at Globe Cemetery on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.
