Larry Polk, Sr.

Larry Polk Sr. age 67, of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on August 28, 2017 at Hospice of the Valley in Chandler, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on October 26, 1949, the son of Maggie (Galson) and Albert Polk. Larry attended Rice Elementary School, Globe Jr. High and Globe High School. He worked as a labor for the Tribal Cattle Association as a fence maker. While in the Army Larry was stationed in California and in Oregon. He enjoyed hiking, fishing and being outdoors. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Maggie and Albert Polk and his daughter Wynona Polk. He is survived by his children Larry Polk Jr. of Peridot, Timothy Walker of Peridot, Travis Polk of Bylas, Olivia Polk of Globe, Larinita Polk of Cigique, Siblings Robinson Polk Sr. of Peridot, Marthalene Polk of San Carlos, Elbert Polk Sr. of San Carlos, Brenda Rope of Bylas, Tracy Polk of San Carlos, Imogene Bendle of San Carlos and ten grandchildren. Wake will be on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 5:30 P.M. at Marthalene’s residence. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the LDS Church in San Carlos.
