Ruth Meade

Ruth Meade age 88, of Peridot, Arizona passed away on August 3, 2017 at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. He was born in Old San Carlos, Arizona on November 19, 1928, the daughter of Christina (Hooke) and Clayton Randall. She was a homemaker. Ruth attended school at Rice School and East Fork Lutheran School. She worked as a cook for the Cattle Association cattle drives. She also loved to sew. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Burnette Dillon, her brother Hanson Hooke, sisters Shirley Hooke and Aurelia Dili. She is survived by her husband Larry Meade of Peridot, daughters Esther Starr of Peridot, Lynette Torres of Mescalero New Mexico, Sharon Olivas of Peridot, her brother Carlos Hooke Sr. of Peridot, sisters Gertrude Waterman of Peridot, Vernita Pedro of Peridot, Marie Macktima of Peridot, 14 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren and seven Great-Great Grandchildren. Wake will be on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 6:00 A.M. at Esther Starr’s residence in Peridot. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. at San Carlos Miracle Church. Interment will be at Upper Peridot Cemetery.
