William Yates

William D. Yates age 73, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Globe, AZ. He was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on July 8, 1943, the son of William P. and Hazel (York) Yates. William was raised and schooled in Iowa (Bloomfield). He moved and lived in Globe since 1987. He worked in the construction business building and painting homes. Enjoyed hunting, loved to shoot and go trapping. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany for two years. He is preceded in death by both his parents William and Hazel Yates and his first wife Betty Lou Yates. William is survived by his second wife Dawn Yates, his son Charles Yates of Tucson and his brother Dwayne Yates of Iowa. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Central Heights Baptist Church in Central Heights, AZ
