Jeff Boyer, age 69, passed Saturday afternoon, July 1, 2017 in his home in Globe, Arizona. Jeff was born May 32, 1948 to Kenneth and Lucille (Kruse) Boyer at the Breckenridge Hospital in Breckenridge, Minnesota. He grew up near Walcott, North Dakota, and attended the one room Smith School, Walcott School, Kindred High School, Mayville State College and the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks. He taught mathematics for three years in North Dakota schools and 30 years in Arizona. He was a talented athlete and an avid outdoorsman. Jeff is survived by his wife Nancy and two sons: Ty (wife Mary) of Statesboro, Georgia, and Jay (wife Heather) of Globe, Arizona, five grandchildren; Clay, Jolee, Grant, Ethan and Logan. Also surviving are his sister LaVonne Marshall of Fruit Heights, Utah, and two brothers; Robert (wife Eithne) of Portland, Oregon and Andrew (wife Candace) of Walcott, North Dakota, and a number of nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins. At Jeff’s request, there will be no services. The family asks that in lieu of flowers or memorials, you make a donation to your favorite charity or organization or enjoy a nice meal with loved ones.
