William " Tom " Brunson

William Thomas “Tom” Brunson age 46, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona. He was born in Globe, Arizona on September 11, 1970, the son of LaVonne (Guttry) and Wilbur Brunson. He worked as a mechanic for Resolution Copper Company. Tom graduated from Hayden High School in 1989. He married Layel Mills in 1995 and they have two boys, Dusty and Coby. He loved to take his boys and go hunting and fishing. He was a true outdoors man. He also loved working on cars and was a great mechanic. People were always bringing their cars over for him to work on. Tom loved the Diamondbacks baseball and watched it faithfully. He was a very devoted family man and adored his wife and boys. He was preceded in death by his parents LaVonne and Wilbur Brunson. He is survived by his wife Layel and sons Dusty and Coby Brunson of Globe, brother Allen Brunson (Tammy) of San Tan Valley, sister Stacie Sharp (John) of Dudleyville, seven nieces and nephews and six grand-nieces and nephews. A memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Globe. In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund has been set up for his son’s education with Wells Fargo Bank in Globe
