Lois Cruz

Lois Christine Cruz age 76 of Globe, Arizona passed away on March 8, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Tucson, Arizona on June 24, 1940, the daughter of Margaret (Tellez) and Sam Marquez. She was a homemaker. She went to school in Globe, Arizona. Lois met Joe Cruz and one week later they were married. They were married for 57 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, cooking and the Dallas Cowboys. She was the Co-Owner of Dr. J’s Auto Service. Lois loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Sam Marquez. She is survived by her husband Indalecio “Joe” Cruz, her children Minnie Cruz, Joe Paul Cruz (Vicky Jo), Yvonne Curiel and Melissa Cruz all of Globe, siblings Ray Tellez of Pine, Arizona, Sal Briones of Syracuse, New York, Anthony Briones of Globe, Sam Marquez Jr. of Oregon, Bobby Marquez of Chicago, Illinois, Nancy Leon of Globe, Beatrice Martinez of Globe, Debbie Falquez of Globe and 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Rosary will follow 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
