Eather Palmer

Eather Mae Palmer, born April 19, 1927 in Bluff, Oklahoma, passed away March 1, 2017 at the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age, and was very blessed to be with us for 89 years. Eather, the oldest of her seven siblings, was a homemaker all of her life, and was always supportive of her children and grandchildren. We will miss her very dearly. She left Oklahoma in 1951 and lived in Arizona for 19 years. In 1970 she moved to California where she resided for 47 years until she moved to Globe, Arizona on January 2, 2017 to live with her daughter, Prince. Preceding her in death were her father George Cole, mother Mildred Pearson Cole, husband Leroy Palmer, brother Preston Cole, sister Ollie Freeman, daughter Lillie Mae Bagby, and two sons Floyd Palmer and Cleveland Palmer. She leaves behind thirteen surviving children: Mary Smith (Gerald) of Colton, California; Prince Parish of Globe, Arizona; Willie Palmer of Casa Grande, Arizona; Wilma Palmer of San Bernardino, California, Leroy Palmer (Stacy) of Casa Grande, Arizona; Jessie Palmer of Globe, Arizona; (twins) Mary Palmer and Billy Palmer of Colton, California; Frankie Palmer of Colton, California; John L Palmer of Phoenix, Arizona; Ernest Palmer (Sarah) of Rialto, California, Jackie Palmer (Debora) of Colton, California; and Bobbie Palmer of Rialto, California. Her surviving siblings: Willie Cole (Janice) of Kansas City, Missouri; Katherine Dale of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mildred Jackson (Sylvester) of LeCompton, Kansas; 46 grandchildren, 120 great grandchildren, and 77 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, AZ Funeral Service will be on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Central Heights Baptist Church in Central Heights, AZ Interment at Globe Cemetery.
