Wiona Evelyn Trobaugh age 96 of Globe, Arizona passed away on February 1, 2017 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center. She was born in Young, Arizona on March 21, 1920, the daughter of Eva L. (Brewer) and William L. Turner. She was a homemaker. She was raised and schooled in Young, Arizona. When she was 17 Wiona married James Tyree. They lived in Phoenix, Washington and Mt. Ord Arizona. They moved back to young in 1943, until 1959 when they moved to Globe. She owned a coffee shop in downtown Globe. Wiona was also a seamstress for Lucille’s dress shop. She loved to sew. She made quilts and was very active at her church. She was preceded in death by her parents Eva and William Turner, her husband James Tyree, son John Trobaugh and her brother Nelson Turner. She is survived by her daughter, Avis Cooper of Globe and son Roy K. Trobaugh (Alice) of Globe, 35 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. A memorial services will be held on Sunday March 19, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church
