Ruby Marie Gibson

Ruby Marie Gibson, age 90, of Globe, AZ passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Globe. She was born in Mercedes, Texas on July 17, 1926, the daughter of Charles and Leona (Russell) Evans. She attended George Washington School in Miami, AZ. She worked for many years as a cook at Larry’s Café, the Apache Land and the Crestline Steak House. She was well known and very well liked. At one time she owned the Tip Top Diner. She was a kind and caring woman devoted to her family. Ruby enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Charles and Leona Evans, her daughter Susan L. Gould and her sister Alma J. Heslep and two brothers; C.L. Evans and Chuck (Junior) Evans. Ruby is survived by her children; Cherel Sewell, Glendon Gould and Patricia M. Daou all of Globe, AZ 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. Your love and memories will live on through each of us. Funeral Services were held on Thurs. January 12, 2017 at Lamont Mortuary Chapel. Interment at Globe Cemetery in Globe, AZ
