He earned his Master’s degree from NAU. When he was Cobre Valley Medical Center’s Auxiliary President, it was through his financial planning and direction on behalf of the hospital that the Serenity Garden came to life and is what it is today. He was also involved with Habitat for Humanity and the Masonic organization. On weekends, he loved to go fishing locally and watching ball games. He loves Karaoke, singing “Jambalaya” with friends, cookouts with family and loved his Granddaughters hugs. They were his greatest joy. He left this earth as a kind, gentle hearted, peaceful man to reunite with his parents and brother, George Dempster. Thomas will be greatly missed and is survived by his wife of 46 years, Blanche, daughter Evelyn (husband Eric Dawson and granddaughter Emily) and Martha his sister and her son, his nephew, Russell.
