Reynold Gilbert age 70 of Cutter, Arizona passed away on December 4, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born in Peridot, Arizona on February 27, 1946, the son of Adelia (Randall) and Claude Gilbert. He worked as an auto mechanic. He was raised on a farm in Safford, Arizona. He attended Mechanic School in Roswell, New Mexico. Rey enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He worked for Bob Mack and the Cutter Airport. He also cleaned the First Presbytery Church in Globe. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Adelia and Claude Gilbert. Reynold is survived by his wife Ophelia (Victor) Gilbert of Cutter, his children Ray Gilbert of New Mexico, Lisa Gilbert of Texas, Alberta Tarango of San Diego, California, Manuel Armijo of San Carlos, Messina Fairbanks of Phoenix, Mateo Tarango of Mescalero, New Mexico, Andrew Tarango of San Carlos, his brother Leonard Gilbert of San Carlos, 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Wake will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the Gilbert’s residence in Cutter. Funeral Services will be at the Gilberts Residence on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. Interment at the Victor Family Cemetery in Cutter
