Florence Berumen

Florence Berumen, April 13, 1925 – November 16, 2016 Born to Gust P. and Clementina Economy in Miami, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Peter, Jim and George Economy, sister Anne Calderon, Husband Aurelio Berumen and grandchildren Fredrick, Candra and Brian Lovato. She passed at her home surrounded by her loving children who gently placed her in God’s hands. She was survived by daughters Linda Casillas, Cande Berumen, Evelyn Sprentz and Jacqueline Berumen-Jenkins (Jack), sons George Randall (Tanja) and Dennis Berumen (Rose), 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. A life long career in retail as a grocery cashier commenced as a teenager at her father’s business, The Sanitary Market and ended upon her retirement after 26 years with Safeway Stores. Forever in our hearts, never forgotten, we love you Mom! A Celebration of Life will be held in lieu of Funeral Services on December 10, 20126 at Cobre Valley Country Club from noon to 4:00 P.M.
