William Benjamin Candler

William Benjamin Candler Sr. age 88 of Roosevelt, Arizona passed away on September 21, 2016 at Haven of Globe. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 8, 1927, the son of Cora (Ranes) and Benjamin Candler. William was raised and attended school in Freeman, Ohio. While living in Ohio, he drove trucks and later became a Policeman in Gallup, New Mexico. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents Cora and Benjamin Candler. Wife Shirley (Baker) Candler, Son Terry Candler and Sister Kathleen Candler. William is survived by his sons Richard Candler of Globe, William B. Candler Jr. and Benny Candler, daughters Charlotte Candler of Spokane, Washington and Kim Arnold Henson. He had numerous grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in West Union Cemetery in Bibsonburg, Ohio. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe
