Donavan Charles Amos

Donavan (Dony) Charles Amos, age 66, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, AZ. He was the son of the late Melvin and Oma Amos of White river, AZ. Dony grew up in White River before leaving to serve in the US Air Force where he served as a Munitions Maintenance Specialist. He was later honorably discharged. Dony worked for various trucking companies (Cecil Trucking, Barney Trucking and most recently CTI Trucking where he was a Sales Manager). Dony is survived by his wife, Catherine Amos, his sons, Donavan Welchert (Melinda), Nick Amos, Ruben Carbajal, daughters, Julianna Tarango (Tino), Jessica Carbajal and Candice Carbajal, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Oma Amos, two brothers, Dennis and Tommy and Sister Elaine. Funeral Services are planned for Saturday, October 15, 2016, at the LDS Church in White River, AZ. Family requests that his friends and family take a moment to remember Dony and all the good times they shared together.
