Elvera Nosie

Elvera W. Nosie age 88 of Peridot, Arizona passed away in Heritage Health Care Facility on Saturday, July 16, 2016. She was born in Old San Carlos on April 1, 1928, the daughter of Maria (Colven) and George Ward Sr. She worked as ja Community Health Representative for the San Carlos Tribe. She was preceded in death by her parents Maria and George Ward Sr., her husband Paul H. Nosie Sr., and her daughter Mary Alice Nosie Hooke. Elvera is survived by her children Imogene E. Nosie Brown (Thomas) of Peridot, Paul A. Nosie Jr. of Peridot, Carlos Nosie Sr. of Peridot, Tommy Nosie Sr. of Peridot, Patsy Nosie Sneezy (Monolito) of Peridot, Wensler Nosie Sr. (Theresa) of Peridot and Vansler Nosie Sr. of Peridot, brother Tommy Ward of San Carlos, sisters Annie Ward Molina of San Carlos and Morlana Molina of Guadalupe, Arizona. 47 grandchildren, 124 Great-grandchildren and 30 Great-great-grandchildren. Wake will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at the Wensler Nosie residence. Funeral Services will be on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Burdett Hall in San Carlos. Interment will be in Holy Ground Cemetery.
