Linda Aline Youngman passed away on Sunday, June 12 at Heritage Health Care Center in Globe after a long illness. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on June 23, 1940, the daughter of Bill and Edna Vinck. Her family moved to Globe in 1950 where Linda attended elementary school and graduated from Globe High School in 1957. She was a long time employee of Miami-Inspiration Hospital, starting in 1974 through retirement in 2015. She is remembered as a tireless and generous woman to all who knew and worked with her. Linda was also a talented artist and avid gardner She was a voracious reader and master crossword solver. She loved camping when she could and she thought her pets were the smartest ever. She put her family first and brought light and joy to all that came within her glow and will be deeply missed. Linda is survived by her children, Carter Youngman of Phoenix, Lucinda Youngman of Globe and Jill Souza of Globe, two grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren as well as her mother Edna Vinck and brother Gary Vinck. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 on June 23, 2016 at Cobre Valley Country Club. The family is requesting that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona (www.azkidney.org) in her honor.
