Sophia Rosales Gamboa

Sophia R. Gamboa, age 96, of Miami, AZ passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Heaven of Globe Nursing Home in Globe, AZ. She was born in Miami, AZ on January 27, 1920, the daughter of Atanacio and Maria de Jesus (Rosales) Gamboa. She worked as a cook for several restaurants in the area. Sophia is survived by her niece Sylvia Cano, her nephew Jesus Canizales and many nieces and nephews. Rosary will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Miami, AZ. A memorial mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the church.
