Whitman Cassadore Jr., age 66 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on January 19, 2016 at Promise Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on December 5, 1949, the son of Elizabeth (Cassa) and Whitman Cassadore Sr. Whitman graduated from Stewart High School in Carson City, Nevada. He worked for the Cattle Association and the Tribe as a cowboy in his early years. He was an officer with the San Carlos Police Department before going to the Game and Fish department. He was in law enforcement for 37 years before he retired from the Game and Fish Department. He enjoyed being outdoors, he loved to hunt, fish and camp. Whitman also did some Silver Smithing on the side along with some taxidermy. Whitman was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth and Whitman Cassadore. He is survived by his wife Eva (Polk) Cassadore of San Carlos, Arizona, his children Linda K. Brown (Mark) of San Carlos, Gloria S. Sisto (Timothy) of San Carlos, Whitman Cassadore III of San Carlos, Edward A. Cassadore (Matilda) of Clarkdale, Arizona, Desiree Cassadore of San Carlos and his siblings Arlene Porter of Peridot, Joseph Porter of Mesa, Arizona, Betty Marshall of Tustin, California, Olivia Cassadore of Whiteriver, Arizona, Reynold Cassadore Sr. of Peridot, Berlinda Edwards of Peridot, Gerald Porter of Tempe, Arizona and Charlene Porter of Laveen, Arizona along with 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Wake will be on Saturday, January 23, 2016 @ 4:00 P.M. at the Cassadore Residence. Funeral service will be on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church in San Carlos. Interment will be at Northgate Cemetery.
