Kathryn W Schminke

Kathryn Wetzler Schminke, age 93, of Globe, Arizona passed away on January 9, 2016 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona. She was born in Sallisaw, Oklahoma on September 23, 1922, the daughter of Marion and Ada (Garvin) Hail. She worked as a bookkeeper for Globe Hardware and J.C. Penneys, worked in the Gila County Recorder’s Office and was secretary to the Superintendent of Public Schools. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Globe, Arizona. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Wetzler (1992) and William “Bill” Schminke (2015) and her step son Jon Schminke. Kathryn is survived by her children Rena Wetzler Mann (Tom) and Richard E. Wetzler (Gay Ann) both of Young, Arizona, sister Betty Leonard of Loveland, Colorado, grand-daughters Shonn Scranton (Rhys) of Surprise Arizona, Kelli Hoefler (Mark) of Littleton, Colorado, Heather Boop (Clayton) of Anthem, Arizona, great-grandchildren Jacob Scranton, Kathryn Scranton, Jackson Boop, Alyssha Boop, Thomas Hoefler and Ryan Hoefler. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. at the Trinity Baptist Church in Globe. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Trinity Baptist Church In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Trinity Baptist Church
