Garrett Stevens June 29th 1982-January 3rd 2016 Garrett Stevens passed away on January 3rd, 2016 at the age of 33. He was born at Maricopa County Hospital on June 29th, 1982 to John and Victoria Victor Stevens. He is survived by his parents, his brother Christian Stevens, his sister Leslie (Braden) Lucas and their son Joseph. He is also survived by his two grandmothers, Antonia Talkalai and Sara L. Stevens. In addition, he is survived by Mervyn Victor whom he considered a brother. He leaves behind his dear friend Tom Bemrich and beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Garrett was raised in Beverly Hills, at their family home, on the San Carlos Apache Reservation. He began his education by attending Holy Angels Catholic School, then proceeded to Liberty High School where he obtained his diploma. After high school, Garrett moved to Tucson, AZ to begin courses at Pima Community College. After attending there, he decided to further his education and transferred to Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ where he worked diligently towards his career. In the duration of his career he worked for several Arizona casinos and for his aunt and uncle at Eastern Arizona Orthopedic Clinic. Garrett had a love for many hobbies such as beadwork, sewing, music, watching movies and acorn picking with his family. He had a deep love for his cats. Many also spoke of his sincere love for his little nephew Joseph and most of all, his family and friends. Garrett was known for his kind-heartedness and gentle demeanor. He made a long-lasting impression to those who got to know him. He had an unparalleled sense of humor and made people laugh till they cried. He was humble and befriended all those that crossed his path. Garrett will be forever loved and missed by all those that he left behind.
