Delbert Hooke

Delbert Hooke, age 47 , of Peridot, Arizona passed away on December 18, 2015 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on December 3, 1968. He was the son of Lawrence and Vera Hooke. He worked as a Residential Advisor for Theodor Roosevelt Boarding School. He was raised in Peridot. Arizona and attended Rice Elementry School. He graduated from Globe High School and attended Southwest Indian Polytechnic/Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico with a marketing certificate. He loved to joke, cook and help others. He was preceded in death by his mother Vera Hooke, and sisters Elva Polk and Vernetta Armstrong Delbert is survived by his father Lawrence Hooke Sr., siblings Estralita Gilbert of Peridot, Darnell Burnette of Whiteriver, Wilmer Hooke of Peridot, Delmar Hooke of Peridot, Dwayne Hooke of Peridot, Skeeter Hooke of Peridot, David Hooke of Peridot, Lawrence Hooke Jr. of Peridot and Wayne Hooke of Whiteriver. Wake will be Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at the Anthony Gilbert residence in Peridot Funeral Services will be at the World Evangelism Revival Church at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 27, 2015. Interment will be at Upper Peridot Cemetery.
