Obituary for Edith M Pedrick, age 96, of Globe, AZ Edith Madeline Pedrick passed away peacefully in the arms of her family on December 13, 2015.She was born to John and Elizabeth Giberson on October 28, 1919, in Plainfield, New Jersey. Edith graduated from Collingswood High School( Collingswood, NJ) in 1937 and married Robert Gordon Pedrick on June 10, 1939. They settled in Oaklyn, New Jersey where they raised their two children- Suzanne Lederman (David) and Robert Jr. (Sally). Edith lived there for more than 70 years. More recently Edith moved to Globe, Arizona to make her home with the Ledermans. While principally a homemaker, Edith was an accomplished seamstress and created many costumes for the Delaware Valley Ballet Company. She was also active in Girl Scouting both as a troop leader and member of The Camden County Girl Scout Council, donating countless hours to the young women of Camden County, NJ. Enjoying the outdoors, Edith hiked and camped in many of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern states. Edith was preceded in death by her husband and 2 brothers (John Thomas Giberson and Leroy E. Giberson). She is survived by her children, four grandchildren(Jonathan Pedrick, Elisabeth Wong, Stephen Lederman Christiana Lederman) and five great grandchildren. Edith always advised us: to take “One day at a time,” and to remember “it’s not the ‘things’ you have in your life that matter but the love of your family”.
