David Chavez Barela

DAVID CHAVEZ BARELA, age 80 passed away on August 12, 2015 at the Heritage Health Care Center. He enjoyed playing games and making crafts with his friends. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He had many wonderful memories of his service in the Navy. Dave worked construction in Globe for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete J and Ramona C Barela and oldest brother Gilbert Barela. Dave is survived by sisters Margaret Lopez of Central Heights, Sally Velasquez (Larry) of Superior and brother Pete Barela (Dorothy) of Globe. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe at 11:00 A.M. In Lieu of flowers: donations would be appreciated.
