Lorraine M. Lee

Lorraine Lee (Kempton) age 85, longtime resident of Globe passed away at Haven of Globe on Sunday July 26, 2015. Lorraine was born in Globe on July 10, 1930 to parents Bueford and Erlene Nelms. She was very active in the Globe Elks Club over the years where she also served as manager for several years. She also worked at Globe Trailer Sales and most recently at Pinal Lumber where she retired in 1993. She was proceeded in death by her mother and father, sisters Patsy Billingsley and Lenita (Bunny) Swanson, husbands Bert Kempton and Arnold Lee, son Jerry Jones and granddaughter Cori Jones. She is survived by her brother Don Nelms of Oregon, a sister Darlene (Bob) Grainger of Mesa, sons Terry (Judy) Jones of Mesa, and Ray (Joyce) Kempton of Globe, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and Funeral services were held at 10am on Saturday August 1st at Lamont Mortuary of Globe and burial was in the Elks section of the Globe Cemetery.
