Sandra Jane Sterr

Sandra Sterr (1944-2015) passed away on July 17, 2015. Thoroughout her life Sandy helped her community in a number of ways. She was a Boy Scout Den Mother, church member, Sunday school teacher, nursing home volunteer and participated in various programs to feed children in need. She also dedicated her life to caring for family members with serious health problems. Sandy worked for many years at the Globe Revco Drug Store and at Dr. Rooney’s dental practice. She had a great love of books and animals. Sand was preceded in death by her first husband Edward Pennington, Uncle James Shirley, mother Olive Gould, son Jerry Sterr, second husband James Sterr and daughter Patti Hinton. She is survived by her sons James Pennington, Michael Pennington, JT Sterr, Ron Sterr, daughter Jan Vidimos and Patti’s husband Wil Hinton. She is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren and many other family and friends.
