John Thomas Courtney, Jr.

John Thomas Courtney, Jr., age 69, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, AZ. He was born in Malone, New York on March 30, 1946, the son of John Thomas and Irene (Aiken) Courtney. He worked for A.J. Bayles and Safeway as a Food Clerk and Stocker. He also had worked for Bombardier in New York with parts for Ski-Doo’s and Sea-Doo’s. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Irene Courtney, Sr. John is survived by his wife Gloria (Smith) Courtney, his children; Brian Scott, Sean Thomas (Jennifer), Paul Daniel and Chris David Courtney, his sisters; Melinda Courtney and Melanie Marshall, his six grandchildren; Julia, Keefe, Trevor, Haydin, Brenna and Kylee Courtney. Funeral services will be private.
