Sharon Kay Walker

Sharon Kay Walker, age 72, of Miami, AZ passed away on June 2, 2015 at her residence in Miami, AZ. She was born in Pitcher, Oklahoma on May 3, 1943, the daughter of Fred Linthicum and Dorothy Harvey Cawyer. She was a loving homemaker all her life, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed going to yard sales, playing bowling and going fishing with her late husband Gene. She kept up with her grandkids sport events and went to watch them play. She loved taking care of her family. She will be remembered for her warm, friendly and open personality. She was preceded in death by her husband Haskel Gene Walker in 2011. Sharon is survived by her daughters; Becky Taylor and Crystal Barbee (Randy) both of Globe, AZ., her Sisters; Mary French and Jewel Lawrence, 7 grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, AZ. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
