In loving memory of Charles Manley Pattison, age 80, of Globe, AZ passed away on May 1, 2015. He was born in Prescott, AZ on September 23, 1934. The son of Rose C. Crume and Bruce F. Pattison. He was raised in Globe along with his two siblings. He attended Globe Schools. After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, from Oct. 21, 1954 – Oct. 20, 1958. He was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB in North Carolina. He transferred to Francis Warren AFB in Wyoming in January 1955 thru April 1955 to become a Heating Specialist. He served two months overseas. When he returned stateside, he was sent back to Seymour Johnson AFB in North Carolina. His last duty before being honorably released from active duty was the 4th Istron (TAC). Charles met the love of his life Earldine Brown in October of 1958 and they were married on December 9, 1958. He moved his wife and two children Travis L. Brock and Louwana A. Brock to his hometown in Globe, AZ. Charles got a job working for Inspiration Copper Co. as a heavy equipment operator. He and his wife had three more children; Rose, Charles and Twila. He retired at the age of 62. He made a lot of friends along the way. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and hanging out with family and friends. His favorite motto was “Why work when you can fish”. Charles was a kind and loving father and husband. He was preceded in death by his wife Earldine Brown Pattison, his two sons Travis L. and Charles B. Pattison, his parents Bruce and Rose Pattison, his sister Dayma Tempe and his brother John Pattison. Charles is survived by his children Louwana Anne Howard (James), Rose Mary Ashby (Kelly) and Twila MacLean (Mac) all of Globe, AZ, 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 11:00 – 12:00 Noon at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, AZ Funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon at Lamont Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
