James F. Thornbrugh, Sr.

James F. Thornbrugh, Sr., age 77, of Globe, AZ passed away on Wed. April 1, 2015 at his residence in Globe, AZ He was born in Topeka, Kansas on July 23, 1937 the son of Joseph Francis Thornbrugh and Ninaabelle Elizabeth (Hixon) Hauschild. James was self-employed having his own trucking business. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren Preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Thornbrugh and his second wife Betty Thornbrugh James is survived by his children James Thornbrugh, Jr., of Globe, AZDonald Thornbrugh (Erin), of Wilder, ID, Barbara White and Beverly Wilson both of Show Low, AZ. His mother Ninaabelle Elizabeth (Hixon) Hauschild, his brother Jack Barnes, his sisters; Beverly Jones, Wanda Purdum and Ramona of Chino Valley, AZ, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He will be missed but his love and memories will live on through each of us. We love you Pops, may you rest in peace. Funeral services will be private.
