James Paul Lavin

James Paul "JP" Lavin age 56, passed away March 11, 2015 in Chandler, AZ. JP was born in Globe, Arizona on March 20,1958 son of Paul & Carolyn Lavin. Followed by a brother Victor Ray and sister Londa Sean. After living in Texas with his mom and siblings JP returned to his family place in Wheatfields to live with his Grandma Susie and Grandpa Ramon. Raised around his Aunts Lita, Margaret and Uncles Frank, Johnny, and Joe Lavin. Also his cousin's Debbie, Mike, Fred, Stephannie, Joseph, Amber, Susan, and Jo Lynn. JP learned the art of Roping and Rodeo from his Uncle's Johnny and Joe at Lavin's Arena. He, His brother, and cousins were inseparable and always together as they grew up and became men. JP excelled in everything he set his hand to accomplish including Academic honors and numerous Athletic awards. After High School graduation JP attended the University of Houston, Gila Community College and later became a Master Electrician as a Union member of IBEW. JP married the love of his life Vicki Renon in 1986 working and living in Chandler, AZ for 19 years. They welcomed into their lives a precious son, Ryan James Lavin, the Joy of his life. At that time JP worked for Intel in a Supervisory position. In 1995 he Graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. He went on to work for other Companies as a Electrician. For all who loved JP, also knew that he had a unbelievable quirky sense of humor and was highly intelligent. He could see the goodness in everyone with his trusting nature. "JP" is preceded in death by his sister Londa Pruitt, Aunt Lita Jones, Grandpa Victoriano Lavin, Grandma Susie, Grandpa Ramon, Grandma Maize, and Grandpa Carl Peterson. Left behind in loving memory is his only son Ryan Lavin, his Beloved mother Carolyn Russell, his loving father Paul Lavin, brothers Victor Lavin, Lance Russell and sister Rorie Lavin Smith. Step-brothers Rocky Fuller, Scott Rhodes and Step-sister Jacky Christian. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, AZ
