Elizabeth Cassadore

Elizabeth Reppert Cassadore was born at Old San Carlos to Florence Dosela and Walter Reppert. Her father Walter, died when she was a baby and her mother remarried Wilbur Noline, who she knew as her father and we knew as our grandfather. Elizabeth grew up with her relatives in lower Peridot just west of Gopher Springs. She remembers sleeping on the floor with her grandmother Constance Dosela and her grandmother would feel their head to see if they had any lice. Elizabeth went to Peridot Mission School for eight plus years. Audrey Opitz was one of their teachers, so were the Upleggers and the Rosins. Elizabeth married Elmer Cassadore in the mid -1950s. They had six children, four boys and two girls. Reppert Cassadore, Sr., Marlowe Cassadore, Thomas Cassadore and Beverly Cassadore. Anthony and Beth Cassadore are deceased and her husband Elmer died in 1985. She also had numerous cousins and relatives. My mother was always happy being with her relatives and friends. Her aunt Therlene Ramos, who also just passed last week, was close to her. They would travel to nearby towns and always have funny stories to tell from their travel. She always told us to give a drink to the thirsty, feed the hungry and never let anyone bow down their head because of what you say or do. Mom, we will miss you, but you had been asking about your mom, Beth, Angie, Shorty, Jessie and Nora. Tell them we are fine and we will one day see each other again, and we will live by the words you told us, and that is to be kind to everyone and share what- ever is yours. Wake will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at Elizabeth Cassadore’s residence in Peridot, AZ Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Peridot Lutheran Mission Church in Peridot, AZ Interment will be at Lower Peridot/Six Mile Cemetery in Peridot, AZ
