Sandi Fae Burdette was born on November 05, 1985 at Phoenix Indian Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ She was born to the late Monica Long and Harding Burdette. Sandi was raised in Peridot, Arizona in her early childhood years. She attended the local schools starting with St. Charles Catholic School, San Carlos Junior High School and on the San Carlos High School. She completed her high school education by obtaining her diploma from Excel Charter School. After completing her high school Sandi moved to Metro Phoenix and started to work. She worked at Casino Arizona and a Japanese Restaurant at the same time. Sandi was the type of person that could handle anything that came her way and anything that she put her mind to. She later returned to San Carlos and worked at the San Carlos Tribal Office as an operator. Everyone was also happy to see Sandi because she had a one of a kind smile that just welcomed you. She always had a smile on her face and knew how to make your day. She was loud, happy, lively and a very beautiful young lady. She also worked at Apache gold Casino and Dairy Queen. She was loved by all her co-workers and befriended everyone with that beautiful smile of f hers The greatest joy of her life came in 2009 when she gave birth to her daughter Monica Jo. Sandi was a wonderful, loving mother to Monica. She always made sure Monica was taken care of and did her very best to provide for her. Knowing she had to take care of Monica she enrolled herself in college. She attended Gila Community College where she obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant Degree. We were so proud of her. Upon completing her program she was soon hired at copper Mountain Inn. Sandi loved her job and she was good at it. Sandi also worked as a Home Care provider for her Grandma and her Auntie. Sandi Fae is survived by her daughter Monica Mariah Jo Rogers, her father Harding Burdette (Brenda), sister Melrose Burdette and two step-brothers Vaughn and Loren. Sandi will be greatly missed by all of us, her family and friends, especially by Monica Jo. Her memories will always and forever be in our hearts. Wake will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at #151 Rodeo Lane in Peridot, AZ Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, AZ Interment will be at Lower Peridot Cemetery.
