Thelma Salter

Thelma “Sippi” Salter, age 48, of San Carlos, AZ passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ She was born in San Carlos, AZ on February 15, 1966. The daughter of Tommy and Selma (Elgo) Salter. Thelma attended Sippi College in New Mexico. She had worked as an accountant for the San Carlos Apache Tribe. At one time she lived in Long Beach, CA for five years. She a good sense of humor and was an extra in a couple of movies – one was Star Trek. She loved to take long walks and spend time with her friends and family. Preceded in death by her parents Tommy and Selma Salter. Thelma is survived by her children Kirt J. Noland, Stefanie Sisto, Michael Sisto, Amy R. Smith and Delray N. Anderson, her brothers; William and Herbert Salter, Kenneth Faulkner and Johnny Alvarez, six grandchildren. Wake will be held on Sat. December 13, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at Thelma Salter’s residence in San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at at the American Indian Church in San Carlos, AZ Interment will be at Elgo Dam Cemetery.
