Ethel Williams

Ethel M. Castor-Williams born July 15, 1924 in Brazil, IN, and passed away on Dec 5, 2014 in Globe, AZ. She married Gaylord V Williams on Dec 14, 1942. They had two children Daniel and Gay. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylord Williams, her son, Dan Williams, her sister Helen Cagle, and her niece, Yvonne Tucker. She is survived by her daughter Gay Rosnett (Mike), a daughter-in-law Sharron, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ethel was a proud Charter member of the St Joseph Illinois Post 634 American Legion Auxiliary. She was a stay at home mother and wife. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, they were a source of love and pride for her. She had an amazing memory and we could always count on her to be the Keeper of Family Stories. From 2000 until 2009 she made her home with her daughter in St. Joseph after losing her vision. She chose to live out her last years with her family and friends in Globe. She made many friends throughout her years at Heritage Health Care. Graveside services will be held in Globe Friday, Dec 12 at 11am at Globe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to either Globe local food bank or St. Joseph American Legion Auxiliary Post 634.
