Gilbert C. Barela

Gilbert C. Barela, age 85, of Globe, AZ passed away on November 13, 2014 in Globe. He was born in Globe, Arizona on May 4, 1929, the son of Romona and Pete Barela. He was the District Service man for APS for 37 years. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Romona Barela, his wife Carol Barela and his son Gilbert Barela Jr. Gilbert is survived by his daughters Debra Barcon, Bonnie Zacher (John), Cathy Berry (Charles), Cherell Deiters (Richard) and Lea Ann McCormick, sons Michael Barela, (Lisa), Barry Barela (Sherri) and Mark Barela (Halle), his two sisters Margaret Lopez and Sally Velasquez and two brothers Dave Barela and Pete Barela (Dorothy). Memorial services will be held on Sat. November 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel.
