Madeline Marie Polk

Madeline Marie Polk, age 74, of San Carlos, AZ passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Heritage healthcare Nursing Home. She was born in San Carlos, AZ on June 23, 1940 the daughter of George Stevens and Gertrude Logan Stevens. She worked as a nurse assistant at the San Carlos Health Care Center in San Carlos. Enjoyed sewing and watching professional wrestling. Preceded in death by her parents George and Gertrude Stevens, her son Donavan Brooks, Sr. Madeline is survived by her children Bernadette Miller (Daniel), Melvin Thompson, Sr., Denise Kenton and Larry Brooks, Jr., her siblings Victoria Stevens (Jody Daggett), Daphne Stevens, Sara Stevens (Miguel), John Stevens (Victoria), and Carl Stevens (Ida Mae), her Step-mother Sara Stevens, her God Daughter Brenda Zaye Hinton, 26 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren Wake will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at Bernadette Miller residence in San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos. Interment will be at San Carlos Cemetery, San Carlos, AZ
