Beatrice Ellison

Beatrice Louise Ellison was born June 20, 1931 in Northern California to Joseph and Gertrude Cromwell. She moved to Arizona at a young age and lived in Phoenix area for many years. She moved to Yuma where she owned a trucking company and then back to Phoenix where she worked with her sister at a beauty college. Beatrice met and married Nathan Ellison in 1981 and made her home in Cherry Creek. She loved working the ranch, quilting, gardening and enjoyed hunting many big game animals. Beatrice will be sadly missed by her husband Nathan, her sister Gladys Luther of Phoenix, her two sons; Bill Downing of Yuma and Ted Downing (Robin) of Kingman, two step-sons Ed and Alfred Ellison of Globe, step-daughter Lynna Deal (David) of Globe, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and her brother. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, AZ
