Christopher Ray Phillips, Jr., age 47, of San Carlos, AZ passed away on Thurs. September 4, 2014 at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ He was born in San Carlos, AZ on December 9, 1966 the son of Christopher Ray and Marianna K. (Jones) Phillips, Sr. Christopher graduated from Globe High School in 1984. He worked as a security officer for the San Carlos Indian Hospital and had also worked for B.I.A. Forrestry. In his free time he loved to go fishing and enjoyed reading his Bible. He liked spending time with his family and friends. Christopher is survived by his children Nicky Steele, Theresa Phillips, Christina Phillips, Christopher R. Pillips III, Christabel Phillips, Angel Phillips, Latisha Phillips, Frances Phillips, Tristina Phillips, his parents Christopher and Marianna Phillips, Sr., his brother Timothy Phillips, his sisters; Beverly Phillips, Caroline and Velda Salas, 8 grandchildren. Wake will be on Sat. September 13, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Phillips residence in Gilson Wash in San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will be on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, AZ Interment will be at Northgate Cemetery in San Carlos, AZ
