Verna Penna

Verna Penna age 65, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Serenity Hospice House in Phoenix, AZ . She was born in San Carlos, AZ on October 25, 1948 the daughter of Ross and Betty (Tonto) Penna. She attended Rice School and graduated from Globe High School in 1967. She worked for the City of Phoenix in Parks and Recreation. She liked growing roses, her dogs, gardening and enjoyed spending time at the Casino. Verna is survived by her two sons; Manuel Victor and Marvin Victor both of Phoenix, her sister Beverly Astor of Phoenix. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 7:00 – 10:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, AZ. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be at Northgate Cemetery in San Carlos,.
