Johanna Ann Begay

Johanna Ann Begay, age 51, of San Carlos, AZ passed away on June 2, 2014 at Cobre Valley Regional Med. Center in Globe, AZ. She was born in Phoenix, AZ on July 27, 1962 the daughter of Johnie B. and Patricia Ann (Fish) Begay. She was raised and schooled in Crown Point and Ft. Wingate in New Mexico. She later moved back to San Carlos in 1980 and attended Easter Arizona College in Thatcher. She received her certificate in Nursing from Maricopa Skill Center in Phoenix. Johanna had worked for the Older Adult Center in San Carlos, as a security officer as a screener at the airport for Ogden Allied and also for security at the Arizona State Fair. She enjoyed sharing kindness with others, spending time with her family and going to the Casino. She was preceded in death by her parents Johnie and Patricia Begay. Johanna is survived by her children; Raymond J. Shaw, Patricia A. Shaw, Daniel J. Salter, Miley M. Goode, all from San Carlos, her sister Jessie Begay, her companion Kenneth Goode and 2 grandchildren. Wake will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at Ken Goode residence in San Carlos, AZ. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, AZ Interment will be at Holy Ground Cemetery – San Carlos, AZ
