Ernie Hinton, Sr.

Ernie Hinton Sr. age 56, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 30, 2014 at his residence in Peridot, Arizona. He was born July 15, 1957 in Wilcox, Arizona to the son of Sam and Frieda Hinton Sr. He graduated from High School in California in 1980. In his younger days, he was a calf roper and participated in Rodeos. His hobby included mining Peridots, which he enjoyed very much. Ernie will be remembered for his unconditional love towards his wife, grandkids, children, family and friends. Also for his sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Hinton. Four sons: Allen Thorne Jr, Ernie Hinton Jr., Isiah Hinton, Josiah Hinton and Five daughters: Stephanie Thorne, Hanna Hinton, Ajulia Hinton, Fanecia Hinton, Danielle Hinton. Mother: Frieda Hinton of Peridot, Arizona. Foster parents: Lynn and Elaine Stanley of Utah. Brothers, Sisters, nieces, nephews and 21 grandchildren. He preceded in death by his father, Sam Hinton Sr. and two brothers. Wake was held at Ernie and Rebecca Hinton’s Residence in Lower Peridot, Arizona on June 6, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services were held at Gethsemene Church, Hwy 70 Peridot, Arizona on June 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Lower Peridot/Six Mile Cemetery in Peridot, AZ
