Melva Jean Truax

Melva Jean Truax, age 37, of Peridot, Arizona, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at San Carlos Indian Hospital in San Carlos, AZ. She was born in Phoenix, AZ on January 5, 1977, the daughter of Melvin and Carol (Kayson) Rustin. She had attended San Carlos Schools and high school in Whiteriver, AZ. She had worked as a buser and pantry cook at the Apache Gold Casino. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her family and going to family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her father Melvin Rustin. Melva is survived by her husband Elvis Truax, her mother Carol Rustin, her brothers Harold Hoffman, Jr. and Joseph Hoffman, her sisters; Edna Hoffman and Margaret Kayson Bendle all of Peridot, AZ Wake will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at Carol Hoffman’s residence in Peridot, AZ Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Church of Jesus Christ in San Carlos, AZ Interment will follow at Northgate Cemetery, in San Carlos, AZ
