Nancy Lee Elgo Stone, age 84, of Miami, Arizona passed away on Mon. April 28, 2014 at Copper Mountain Inn Nursing Home in Globe, AZ She was born in San Carlos, AZ on December 25, 1929 the daughter of Norton Elgo and Alice (Galson) Long. Nancy was a 1947 graduate from Phoenix Indian High School. She lived in Chicago on and off for 20 years. In 1968 she returned to Arizona to stay. She had worked at the Miami Memorial Library as a librarian clerk. Nancy was a devoted member of the Divine Grace Presbyterian Church. She served as a Deacon, Elder and secretary. Nancy loved to read, watch NBA, she was a great fan of the Chicago Bulls and professional Tennis matches. Her favorite tennis pro was Andre Agassi. She also loved munching on Cracker Jack. Nancy is survived by her children Loretta Stone of Globe, AZ, Anna Gonzales (Paul) of Miami, AZ, and Brenda Stone of Hurley, WI, her half sister Lorraine Alvarez of Cutter, AZ and her half brothers; Ferris, Melvin and Johnson Elgo all of San Carlos, AZ, 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. at the Divine Grace Presbyterian Church in Miami, AZ. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the Divine Grace Presbyterian church in Miami, AZ. Interment will be at Elgo Dam Cemetery in San Carlos, AZ
