Jesse Loyd Jones, age 85, of Globe, AZ passed away on Monday, April 14, 2013 at his residence in Globe, AZ. He was born in Dripping Springs, AZ the son of Sam Jones and Annie (Teague) Jones. Jesse was born and raised in Arizona. He graduated from Globe High School in 1946. He joined the U.S. Army before he graduated and went to Korea twice during his stint in the Army. He was a certified welder and had several welding certificates. He worked for Inspiration Copper and was a member of the Pipefitters Union. He loved to go fishing, hunting and prospecting. He owned mining claims and assayed his own samples. Jesse and his brother Nash were partners in the prospecting business. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Joyce Jones in August of 2012. Jesse is survived by his daughters; Linda Silvas and Rhonda Baldwin both of Tucson, AZ, 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-children. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 9:00 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe, AZ Rosary will begin at 9:00 A.M. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, in Globe, AZ
